Jesus is brought before Pilate, who, despite finding no fault in Him, sentences Him to death to please the crowd. Soldiers mock and beat Jesus before leading Him to be crucified. On the cross, He is mocked by onlookers, but He remains silent. Darkness covers the land, and Jesus dies after crying out to God. The temple curtain is torn, and a Roman officer declares Jesus as God’s Son. Joseph of Arimathea buries Jesus in a tomb, and women watch where He is laid.
