After the Sabbath, women visit Jesus' tomb and find it empty. An angel tells them Jesus has risen and instructs them to inform the disciples. Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene, two other followers, and then the eleven disciples, rebuking them for their lack of faith. He commissions them to preach the good news to the world. Jesus ascends to heaven, and the disciples continue His mission, supported by miraculous signs.
