On February 13, 2013 at Convocation, North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Liberty's first graduate, Vernon Brewer, encouraged students to spread the word of God to the ends of the earth. He motivated students to become involved in reaching the world for Christ.

Vernon Brewer is Liberty University's first graduate as well as the founder of World Help. World Help is a faith-based humanitarian organization that has been serving the spiritual and physical needs of the impoverished around the world for more than 20 years.
