An owner provides, while a steward preserves. A steward will increase the value of the owner’s assets with an attitude of passionate commitment. In today’s culture, we are enamored with being the owner, the boss, and doing our own thing. But in the economics of the kingdom of God, He is the only one qualified to be the owner. Our Scripture reading today asks the question who, then, is that faithful and wise steward, not who is that faithful and wise owner. Determine today to be a faithful steward and leave the ownership to God.

12:18 We need to understand the definition of an asset and a liability. An asset is something that puts money in your pocket; a liability takes it out. As long as you've got a home, it's a liability. I don't care if you've got it paid for. If you don't believe that, just stop paying your taxes on your home and find out who owns it.

15:06 When you get your finances in line with God's Word and you make the commitment that you were going to be a good steward and do what God told you to do, God gets involved with that.

15:35 You can't serve God and mammon and… it's a spirit, it's a demonic spirit, and when you are in this world's system, in the mammon system, I guarantee, it just consumes and eats up everything. When you get into God's system, there is this supernatural multiplication.
