WEEK #3 | MARCH 27 | FREEDOM TO (Gina Cherian)

Possible Reference Text: Galatians 5 verses13-14 (ESV)

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for

the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You

shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

We were freed to live lives of love: to love freely as Christ did, reconciling the broken places all

around us. The call to this kind of life won’t necessarily be easy or comfortable. Christ’s journey

to give us freedom was downward and painful. But He proclaimed victory over death and, in

the process, gave us freedom to live abundant lives in Him. This week will envision us to look at

what free living looks like – really. Not in just getting to do whatever we want, whenever we

want to. But in loving God and loving our neighbors.
