To have the United States government be the largest bureaucracy in human history, and then say that the influence of the Church should be kept out of it, means we have the largest organization in human history devoid of a biblical worldview. Are we surprised that that is increasingly becoming authoritarian? How is it that we accepted such a nonsensical idea that our faith had to be left out of that environment? If we leave our faith out of our schools, our jobs, our government bureaucracy, and our universities, we shouldn't be surprised that ungodliness and immorality become the tools of those institutions. We don't want a state church, but we will not survive a state that isn't influenced by the Church.

God will help us, not by pushing us around, not by intimidation and threat, not like some authoritarian governmental structure, but by His Spirit working deeply within us to bring change. You see, Jesus of Nazareth will bring liberty, freedom, hope, and restoration to any human life. It's the good news that we have. It's the impetus for wanting to share the message beyond ourselves, and to tell our God-stories.
