Pastor’s Bobby and Chad welcome and install Dr. Irene Messoloras as the new Hour of Power/Shepherd’s Grove Choral Conductor. Dedicated to inspiring musicians and audiences through a passion for musical excellence, Dr. Messoloras maintains an active career as a highly sought-after music educator, conductor, clinician and adjudicator. In addition to her responsibilities at Shepherd’s Grove and Hour of Power, Dr. Messoloras also serves as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of LaVerne where she conducts premier vocal ensembles and teaches courses in conducting.
Hour of Power choir member, Erin Wood, performs “Pie Jesu” (comp: M. Durufle; orch: M. Riley) and “Climb Every Mountain” (comp: R. Rodgers; O. Hammerstein II; adapt & orch: M. Riley) with the Hour of Power choir. Erin is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Majesty” (comp: Jack Hayford; Jack Schraeder). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
