Ryan Ellis is a musician, songwriter, and worship leader from Orange County, California. He discovered a love for the arts at a young age, and after five years of service with the U.S. Navy, he became a worship pastor. A gifted songwriter, Ryan has composed tunes for Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman, has won an ASCAP award, and been nominated for a Dove Award. In 2019, he released dual albums, “Lyfe” and “Rysponse,” and today he continues to actively lead worship.
Today, Ryan performs “Simple Truth” (comp: Mack Brock; Chris McClarney; Ryan Ellis; Nate Moore) and “Living Hope” (comp: Brian Johnson; Phil Wickham; orch: M. Riley). Ryan is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
