Pastor Bobby concludes the series of messages for the season of Advent entitled: Advent – Hope in Your Winter. Today’s message, “The Gift of Winter.”
A returning Hour of Power favorite, Maiya Sykes is a soloist from Southern California. Sykes attended Yale with a triple major in Political Science, African American studies and Music Composition. She has performed with stellar artists and groups like Macy Gray and Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, and competed on “The Voice (2014).” Today, Maiya sings “Silent Night” (comp: F.X. Gruber; J. Mohr; M. Breitkopf; orch: M. Riley). She is joined by Kenton Chen, Jherimi Henry and Leonard Clark, and is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Angels We Have Heard on High” (arr: Donald McCullough; orch: M. Riley) accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
