Pastor Daniel Fusco
Whether it's a preview of a movie that nobody else has seen, or an ultrasound picture of a 10-week-old baby that is yet to be born, there's something extra special about a getting "sneak peek." Now imagine if we could have watched Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, or sat next to Beethoven as he composed his famed Ninth Symphony. What a joy it would have been to watch those world-changing masterpieces becoming a reality! Instead, we only know them as finished works.
John 17 gives us a "sneak peek" that is even more powerful than watching Michelangelo at work. It takes us behind the scenes to watch Jesus' own intimate relationship with the Father, His own perfect version of Divintimacy, or intimacy with God. There has never been anyone who enjoyed a more deeply intimate relationship with God than His own Son. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Daniel dives into John 17, the chapter that is known as the real Lord's prayer. Learn why Jesus prays the things He does for Himself and His disciples, look at what Jesus values for Himself and His followers, and ultimately learn God's heart for us to know Him more deeply than we ever thought imaginable. It's going to be an amazing time in God's Word together.
