Sunday, April 1, 2012 - What's The Big Deal?: What's The Big Deal About Palm Sunday? (Matthew 21:1-7, Luke 19:39-40)
Pastor Daniel Fusco
Imagine the scene: crowds of people are swelling on the east side of the city of Jerusalem. And there's some kind of a commotion happening. People are swarming. Sure, there's always a large group of people in the city before the Passover, but this is different than usual. There are throngs of people who are waving branches and praising God. The crowd opens up and a thirty-something year-old man named Jesus comes riding in on a donkey. People looked at each other and asked, "What's going on? What's the big deal with that guy?"
In the third message of our Easter series, we will answer the question, "What's the Big Deal About Palm Sunday?" Pastor Daniel will give us a fresh look at the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem one week before His death and resurrection, and we will be challenged and encouraged by the simple reality of who Jesus really is. Not only that, we will learn how to respond to this glorious reality. Come join us this Palm Sunday with your friends and family, and be changed by Jesus!
