We have all sorts of thoughts about the early Christians. They were on fire for Jesus. They went where angels feared to tread. They were willing to put their lives on the line for Jesus. At times, all those things were true. But not always. Far from it. In fact, the closer you look at their lives, the more you realize at one point they were just like us; they had all kinds of beliefs about Jesus but didn't truly live for Him at all. So what happened? What took them from people who had great beliefs to people with great lives?

As we begin our new series "Showing," which is based on Acts 1-8. Pastor Bill is going to lay the groundwork for what a life in Jesus really looks like and how it works.
