Salvation Army Major Fights Human Trafficking After Life of Rebellion
Major Danielle Strickland's life has been a journey from a rebellious childhood to juvenile prison, God revealed His love to Danielle which led her to salvation, to life change in Africa and Russia, to Officership in The Salvation Army taking her from Canada to Australia and back again! Danielle serves Jesus as the Corps Officer of Crossroads Community in Edmonton. Her passion is social justice, including establishing human trafficking response teams in local situations and giving leadership to the global team for the "Stop The Traffik" campaign, a growing global movement whose purpose it is to end the buying and selling of people Danielle speaks and teaches around the world and has written several books: Just Imagine: the social justice agenda, Challenging Evil, Boundless and The Liberating Truth: How Jesus Empowers Women.
