Aiming to Alleviate Extreme Poverty Through the Salvation Army
Commissioner Susan McMillan has been a Salvation Army officer for 35 years. A Canadian by birth, she has served in Canada, Mexico, South America East (Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay), South America West (Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador) and The Salvation Army’s International Headquarters in London, England. Holding a Master of Business Administration Degree and a Certified General Accountant designation, Commissioner McMillan’s appointments have included church, social services and hospital administration, as well as leadership in senior finance and business positions.
