Joni and Friends - Regrowth Following the Woolsey Fire
Following the devastation of the Woolsey Fire in November 2019, bright, spring-green grass has grown like a lush carpet over the blackened hills. The sight is a graphic reminder of renewal and resurrection, even in the aftermath of those tragic fires. The metaphor is that the lovely green slopes lining the 101 freeway tell the story of how God brings “beauty out of ashes” (Isaiah 61:3).
