Did You Ever Think Joni and Friends Would Become All That It Is Today?

In light of the 40th anniversary of Joni and Friends, We asked Joni Eareckson Tada if she ever thought this ministry would be all that it is today.

"Well, sitting around that kitchen table at the Maryland farmhouse with my friends, we answered hundreds of letters. I knew we needed to roll up our sleeves and give these people the hope of Jesus Christ! And today, because of you, we're meeting these spiritual needs. God bless you for helping us make Jesus real to people with disabilities across the United States, and around the world. Because you know what? Letters just ain't gonna do it. The love of Jesus through our hands and our heart and our feet will." -Joni Eareckson Tada
