Northern Uganda was by a shattered a decade long civil war with the Lord's Resistance Army. Rape, murder and mutilation was the legacy they left behind. One of the most horrific strategies they used was kidnapping girls to be wives of the commanders. Prisca was one such girl, and her road to healing has not been easy.
