Nick Stumbo grew up in a solid Christian home and is a third generation pastor. But starting at age 14, he experienced a 15-year binge/purge/confession cycle dealing with porn and sexual fantasy. Nick had good intentions – he confessed regularly in church settings and to his wife, Michelle, and pursued safeguards. Like many addicts, Nick believed he was improving and “not that bad” when compared with others. Tragically, Nick was not considering the compounded pain his behavior was having on Michelle, who seriously considered leaving their marriage.
