Break Out! Vacation With No Phones | Jonathan Evans Vlog
Welcome to Spring Break chaos! In this family vlog we're getting ready to go on a vacation to Austin, and this is prime family time. That means no phones, no electronics, just family.
We're thankful to have friends host our family in Austin for spring break. The kids got to swim around, eat some good food, and even play with some elephants. But before we can do any of that, we’ve got to get all of these kids out of the house!
The kids aren't feeling the no electronics part of this trip. Kelsey is a teenager now! You know how these teenagers are. They’ve got to text all their friends all the time to let everybody know what they’re doing every day! When I was a kid, we didn’t have electronics on long car rides. They’re going to have to do what I did as a kid; use their imagination!
Family is important to Kanika and me. I wanted to take this time off to make sure that I spent quality time with them on this trip. We don't need to just work and work without having fun. It's okay to take rest and just enjoy living life. The moments when we slow down and take a break, are the moments the kids will remember.
I always tell the kids that if you love God, love your family, and take care of your responsibilities, fun will show up!
