In 2013, History aired a 10-episode series, The Bible, which focused on Jesus’ life and pivotal events leading up to his birth, death, and resurrection. One such episode dramatized Abraham and Isaac and their journey of faith. Bishop Jakes shares a clip and reflects on the lessons from this story.

He remarks that Abraham’s life and his journey up the mountain with his son, Isaac provides a template for our own lives. We, too, face uphill battles, questions of why, where and when? What do we do when we need answers?
