W.C.Handy's ST. LOUIS BLUES - Roger Williams
Roger performed one of his arrangements of W.C. Handy's most famous song, "St Louis Blues" at the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, California. Roger studied Jazz at Juilliard with Teddy Wilson and Lennie Tristano. “St. Louis Blues,” composed and published in 1914 by W.C.Handy was his greatest success and perhaps the most revered of all standards, recorded thousands of times by musicians of nearly every genre.
