One of the weapons leveled against the people of God by our adversary is guilt. If he can keep us more aware of our failures and shortcomings than the redemptive work of Jesus, he can keep us on the sidelines. Thankfully, our forgiveness before God is not anchored in our good works or our morality or even our church attendance. It’s anchored in the redemptive work of Jesus, whose death on the cross is fully sufficient to set us free. Enjoy the message!
