There Is A Hope (Live from Sunday Night)
On our darkest days, it’s easy for feelings to outweigh facts. One of the most common lies we are fooled into believing is that we are disqualified from God’s love, grace, redemption or provision because of something we’ve done or the place that we’re in. So this idea that no matter what, you can still turn back, you can still have faith, you can still have hope; That God is still with you and for you is what we tried to encapsulate in the song.
That’s what the cross means, that’s what an empty tomb means and that’s why there is always a hope in the name of Jesus.
Reading psalm 42, sometimes you have to speak the truth of the gospel over your own soul, and I think we wanted to give language and lyric for people to do just that and have a fresh encounter with the love of God
and the hope we have in Jesus.
