One of the blessings of this generation is the unbridled access we have to information. Unfortunately, the problem with living in an information-saturated culture, is that not all the information is true. There are a lot of false teachers out there. The same was true in the first century when the church was in its formative stages. Peter wanted his hearers to understand the truth about the false teachers of their day and we can learn some important lessons from what he shares.
