There is no fear or torment in love. The root of any torment is fear. We are to bring our interpersonal relationships to the Lord and shine His light onto our behavior. Are we conforming to His Word? We need to forgive others first, then listen to them and only speak with a soft answer. The other person has a right to choose, so love them by respecting their rights. We are to have no ulterior motives, be free from conflict and be willing to yield to reason. We need to bridle our tongue and communicate without offending anyone. Be a lover of people.
