God’s power, displayed through the apostles, continues to have a profound impact in Jerusalem. In these chapters we glimpse conditions in the early church and observe how it functions in relationship to the culture of the day. We also see an increase in problems – from deception within to opposition from those in charge of the religious and political life of the nation. Despite these issues, the Gospel spreads and believers are strengthened.
