Alistair Begg reminds us that the Sabbath is meant to be an imparter of joy, a source of relief, and a way of bringing order and structure to daily life. Just as with God’s other moral laws, we are still commanded to honor the Sabbath faithfully. As we do so, however, we must take care to regard God’s Word alone—not human teachings or taboos—as binding.
