Dr. Laura Lewis has worked as a family physician for many years, Dr. Lewis saw the need for practical, compassionate support for women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy. Along with a small group, she helped to establish Christine's Place Pregnancy Support Centre. Nationally, Dr. Lewis is a board member of both the Canadian Association of Pregnancy Support Services (CAPSS) and the Canadian Physicians for Life. She also participated in a nationwide prayer walk in 2013 called Back to Life Canada.
