"Winter Storm Leaves Many in Dark"
Samaritan's Purse is responding after a winter storm plowed through North Carolina last week, leaving tens of thousands of homes without power.
A disaster relief unit has been deployed to Burlington and is based at Fellowship Baptist Church. A second one has been deployed to High Point and is based at Oak View Baptist Church. The area is currently being assessed as we begin to accept volunteers. High Point has already completed two work orders since arriving.
