Darren was shot while on patrol by a fellow Green Beret and had to leave the service because of this. Whilst watching the Battle of Britain campaign on GODTV he called the number on the screen, he was saved and immediately baptised in the Holy Spirit.

Darren then suffered a number of personal tragedies, but God brought him through these really difficult times and sent him on a remarkable journey to work within a ministry that is helping the homeless.
