Teens Share Struggles With Suicidal Thoughts, and Message of Hope: **Don’t Give Up**
On average, more than 3,000 teens attempt suicide every day. A study conducted by the American Medical Association indicates that more than 75% of parents are unaware of suicidal ideation in their child. Meanwhile, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported considerably elevated levels of suicidal ideation in younger adults associated with COVID-19.
Thankfully, there is hope. While any life lost to suicide is tragic, only about one in 25 suicide attempts ends in death. In this video, several teens share their struggles with suicidal thoughts, and give a message of hope to other teens who might be struggling: "You're not alone. Don't give up."
