Isaac Bennett exhorts us from 1 Peter 4:7–11 to resist the growing betrayal culture and keep in fervent love. “As watchful believers, we must recognize this increasing trend of society and labor diligently to grow in love while resisting the temptation to participate in the betrayal culture,” he encourage us. “Our aim isn’t only to love God, or the Church, but to love even our enemies.”
