Abdiel Gonzalez is a prolific vocalist, blessing the Hour of Power Choir with his rich baritone every week. When not performing at Shepherd’s Grove Church, he leads a celebrated artistic career, taking on numerous demanding theatrical roles, and soloing with some of the most respected symphonies and philharmonics in the country. A versatile entertainer, Abdiel is comfortable in styles ranging from operatic to contemporary, with particular skill and love for the Spanish tradition of zarzuelas. Today, Abdiel, along with Joslyn Sarshad, Debbie Bourne and Preston Parker, performs “Build My Life” (comp: B. Younker, K. Martin, K. Kable, M. Redman, P. Barrett; adapt & orch M Riley). They accompanied by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.
Preston Parker is from Los Angeles California. He is currently a senior at the University of La Verne, studying film and music. He’s spent his life using his gifts to lift the spirits of others and never forgets to give the Lord glory in all he does. Today, Preston performs “Ever Be” (comp: Bobby Strand, Chris Greely, Gabriel Wilson, Kalley Heiligenthal). He is accompanied by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.
Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir, along with soloist Joslyn Sarshad, performs “Let Your Faith be Stronger Than Your Fear” (arr: Tom Trenney). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the piano, and the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.
