Voices of Hope Children’s Choir elementary school students perform “This Little Light of Mine” (Harry Dixon Loes). They are directed by Sarah Grandpre and are accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Shannae Bernales and Sophia Borrelli perform “Believe for It” (CeCe Winans; Mitch Wong; Kyle Lee; Dwan Hill). Shannae Bernales is 18 years old and currently a senior attending the Orange County School of the Arts in the Popular Music Conservatory. A member of the Voices of Hope Children’s Choir since 2017, Shannae was a soloist during their run on America’s Got Talent Season 13. Sophia Borrelli is a 19-year-old college student currently working towards her Psychology degree at Santiago Canyon College and has plans to transfer to a four-year university to study Biology in the fall. Before graduating high school, Sophia was part of Voices of Hope Children’s Choir for 5 years and was seen as a soloist on season 13 of America’s Got Talent with the choir. Now a student in college, she works as the choir’s Assistant Director. Shannae and Sophia are accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Erin Choi is an aspiring actor, singer, and dancer in 4th grade from Irvine, CA. You can catch her in The Sound of Music as Marta at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts running through May 15th. Erin has been performing in local youth theater since the age of 7 and some of her favorite roles have been Annie in Annie, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, and Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical. She loves to spend time with friends from Voices of Hope Children’s Choir and is very enthusiastic about life. Besides performing, she likes to write stories and go to Disneyland with her family and friends. Today, Erin performs “This is Amazing Grace” (Joshua Neil Farro; Phil Wickham; Jeremy Riddle). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
The Hour of Power Choir, along with soloists Joslyn Sarshad, Connor Smith and Arnold Geis, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “The Corinthian Song” (Varn Mckay; arr: Sam Robson).
