Remembering Billy Graham
Billy Graham was born on November 7, 1918, and reared on a dairy farm near Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Graham often told the story of his “personal commitment to Christ” at age 15 when evangelist Mordecai Ham was a guest speaker in revival meetings in Charlotte.
Billy Graham preached from the Bible to more people in live audiences than anyone in history—215 million people in 185 countries—a household name in every sphere of influence. His voice heard on the “Hour of Decision” radio program for 60 years.
Billy Graham said: “Most books are born, live a few short years, then go the way of all the earth; they’re forgotten. But not the Bible!”
