Politics Today - How Should the Church Respond to the government's position on Abortion?
In this week’s edition of Politics Today, Simon Barrett will be joined by Dave Brennan from the Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform UK, as we discuss the horrific milestone we have reached in the United Kingdom as over ten million babies have been aborted since 1967.
We discuss the Missing Millions Conference that brought Christians to pray and seek repentance on behalf of the 10 million unborn babies and for the blood curse that has come upon our nation for our failure to protect the sanctity of life.
We discuss the apathy and indifference within the Church and the spiritual danger of their silence in the face of such unrighteousness that is grieving the heart of God.
We express alarm at the government’s Health and Care Bill and especially the amendment introduced by Conversative peer Baroness Sugg that would make DIY abortions at home permanent. This despite the Right to Life saying that 10,000 women had to receive hospital treatment from DIY abortions from April 2020 to September 2001.
We discuss the urgent need for the Church to speak out against abortion or remain silent which is complicity with evil.
