"I have lots of memories of my kids running up to me and excitedly sharing an urgent request. So often their petitions would be filled with "repeat-itis"... You know what I mean...it's the disease kids get when they really, really, really want something. They repeat themselves two or three times just to make sure we hear them. "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!" "I need it, I need it!" or "Please Dad! Please!" When we're desperate, we're redundant. Patience is one of those virtues that can be quite elusive!"
