The water rose so quickly that Melissa had to be rescued from her Louisiana home in a canoe. She was able to bring the dog, but her daughter's pet goat Faith “Jellybean” didn't make the trip. We met Melissa and her daughter when volunteers came to help with cleanup. That's when she shared Faith's rescue mission with us.
