Jesus must be first in everything, even when it is inconvenient or when it is hard. We are not called to self-gratification and ease, there is a cost to serving God. As humans, we have this innate ability to shrug off the Word of God.
You are bearing good fruit don’t be deviated from prayer and the power that God has placed inside of you. Stay in the Word and close to the Cross. Don’t go back to the person you left behind. It’s Christ in us that is our treasure and we must bring this treasure to others.
