Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

There are seasons as we walk with God where it seems we're in a HOLDING PATTERN.

We have an idea of our dream, we're holding on to a promise, but it seems we're not there yet, we're waiting, we want to “arrive”…but we're in a holding pattern.

THE TENSION, The challenge…is these God designed holding patterns, these seasons fly right IN THE FACE of the headwinds of our CONVENIENCE FOCUSED SOCIETY.

The challenge is, many of the things God has designed for us wont come easy, and wont come fast.

What are you waiting on?

-Are you single: waiting for your spouse

-Have you turned in application after application, waiting for a call for employment?

-Maybe you are holding a degree, worked hard, waiting for direction?

-family to come to know Jesus? -promise? Dream? Healing?

Key Point: WHAT GOD DOES IN US WHILE WE WAIT IS AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT IT IS WE ARE WAITING FOR!

Waiting isn’t just something we have to do while we get what we want, it is part of the process of BECOMING what God wants us to be.

If you are not prepared DURING the journey, if you don’t learn what you are supposed to learn along the way, you wont be able to HANDLE where God is taking you!

If you work what you got, sow into others then waiting turns into preparing. Your faith grows, your trust grows and in His perfect timing you see his promise prevail!
