1 Corinthians 1:26-29

Today, Pastor Marcus talks about how when kids are younger, they're confident that they'll do anything in life when they're adults, but then the confidence of adults shrinks to fit the circumstances of our lives. Three areas can rock our confidence: intelligence, influence, ability. But he reminds us that God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak things to shame the strong, the lowly and despised things to nullify the things that are.

Question: How do you recognize when thoughts are not from God? How do you generally respond?

Take Action: When you get an attack on your thoughts, respond with the truth of God's Word: "God chose me."
