I love the childlike trust in this verse from Jeremiah. It’s a verse that literally takes God at His word, and I’d love to be more like this, to simply just believe that God is going to do what He says, maybe not in my time or my way that I would have preferred, but it’s a reminder that Love is listening and that Love has my best interest at heart. Lord, grant me simple and childlike faith to just believe You when you say that you heal and rescue.
