Brandon Walker thought he had his life all planned out when he accepted his dream job as a firefighter – something that he had longed for since childhood. For years, Brandon had felt the tug of God on his heart toward ministry, but ignored it. Slowly, though, Brandon realized that the very job he used to dream about having, he no longer felt passion for anymore. That’s when he decided to heed God’s calling and attend seminary. Missions was nowhere on Brandon’s radar, and yet – after hearing Wycliffe president Bob Creson speak at his school – he found himself drawn to the work of Bible translation. Since that time, he’s learned to follow God by praying this simple prayer: “Lord, use me.” Hear the story of how God is going to do just that through Brandon in Papua New Guinea.

Wycliffe’s mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025.
