Living in the Balance of Grace & Faith - Week 4, Day 2 - The Gospel Truth
Have you wondered why, after trying so hard, you're still not receiving from God? Or are you getting frustrated that, despite your best efforts, you're not seeing the fruit of Christianity? You might even be like many Christians who have tried different churches, confessing the Word, tithing, praying, or even fasting, yet with no results. These are all symptoms of an imbalance of grace and faith. Grace and faith are often seen as opposing forces in the body of Christ. But grace and faith are both essential ingredients in our walk with the Lord because they work together! Faith is a positive response to what God has already provided by grace. Grace is what God does, and faith is what we do. However, emphasize either to the exclusion of the other and the imbalance will make it difficult to receive from God. This lack of understanding is what leads to much confusion, frustration, and disappointment.

Many even believe you just can't know God's will—that in His sovereignty, He will make it happen regardless of what you do. Too long this viewpoint has kept Christians from knowing the full potential He planned for them. But no more. God created you with a specific purpose, and the good news is, He wants you to find it. This insightful teaching will guide you on your path to find, follow and fulfill God's will in your life.

00:32 Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of The Gospel Truth.
07:04 If you...if it was dependent upon you having every sin confessed, you cannot live that way and that takes away all peace.
10:55 One of the benefits of understanding that everything comes by grace and all I have to do is just in faith respond positively to it; one of the benefits of that is that i now have a rest and a peace in my relationship with God and I am not afraid of God rejecting me.
13:08 The grace of God has caused me to just relax in my relationship with God, and understand that God, you have blessed me.
17:38 Here in 1 John, chapter 4, in verse 10 it says, herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation...that means the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
