Mallory Cuccio has been the last line of defense this season, anchoring the Liberty field hockey defense. The Colorado Springs, Colo. native is in her junior year and third season with the Lady Flames.

Cuccio started 13 games her freshman year back in 2012, posting a 10-2 record and allowing only one goal per game. However, Cuccio only played in three games her sophomore season due to Ann Jefferis coming back for her redshirt senior season.

Cuccio has stepped up to the task during her junior year between the pipes. Cuccio has helped carry the team to a 9-7 record, with two games left in the regular season. If the Lady Flames win their final two regular season contests, Cuccio could break her personal single-season wins record of 10 wins.
