Jesus has been pushed further and further to the margins for quite a while now. He is less welcome in the public square and in the workplace. Well, Christmastime seems to be more pronounced than other seasons. So, here's my suggestion—let's not spend our time grumbling and complaining about what is or is not. Let's decide to be the difference makers. This Christmas, we're on assignment for Jesus. When we go to work, when we take a walk around the neighborhood, and when we gather with our friends—no matter who has organized the gathering or what the ultimate purpose is—let's go in with a sense of joy and celebration because we're celebrating the birth of Jesus.
