LIFE SERIES | Kingdom of God
Carl Tinnion unpacks the Kingdom of God in this teaching; exploring how God's heavenly culture outworks itself on earth and the invitation He extends to His people to join with him in seeing the manifestation of His Kingdom on earth. This is evidenced in Jesus ministry, death and resurrection in overcoming darkness and proclaiming freedom for the oppressed. Be challenged to think about how this is relevant to you, today, right where you are.
Questions for personal reflection or group discussion
1. Define the Kingdom of God in your own words, using appropriate metaphors. How would you explain it simply to someone for the first time?
2. Think of a story where you have seen the Kingdom of God shows itself in a similar way to Jessie Boot’s story. How did it impact you? What are the key principles that you might apply in your context?
3. What does it mean to be radical in a transformational way in the workplace or the area of society you are called to?
