When our Wheels for the World outreach team arrived in Haiti, no one in the community knew that Franz existed. He had spent all 17 years of his life alone on a concrete floor, cut off from the rest of his village and the world.

Disabled at birth, Franz's father abandoned him and his mother died soon after. If not for the compassion of Franz’s uncle, Albalo, Franz would have been left for dead.

On the day of our Wheels for the World outreach, Albalo carried Franz out into the sunshine for the first time in his life.
