Johnnie Moore - Liberty University Convocation
On February 17, 2012 at Convocation, North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Johnnie Moore, Liberty's Vice President and Campus Pastor, concluded Missions Week and began College for Weekend with a lighthearted and powerful message about Jesus' call for us to "love our neighbors" as the Good Samaritan loved his. Moore asked the questions, "What could happen if Christians were known by their love?"
Moore primarily oversees the Office of Spiritual Programs (which includes Convocation), the Center for Global Engagement and he serves as an assistant to Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. Moore is best known as a teacher and frequent speaker at Liberty University as well for his leadership over Liberty's extensive missionary and humanitarian work around the world. He is also the author of "Honestly: Really Living What We Say We Believe."
