“JD” of Hillsong United
Jonathon Douglass – or “JD” as he’s known by his childhood nickname – is the worship leader for Hillsong United, a worship band that originated as a part of Hillsong Church. The band’s mission is to write songs that awaken churches and individuals to the fact that we are redeemed and called into the story of God. Though the band members are made up of pastors, worship leaders, musicians, and songwriters, they have one thing in common: to give voice to a generation who is passionate about God. JD doesn’t just do this through his music; he also ministers daily in overseeing the Creative Campus Pastors in Australia.
